1/22/12:

The rules meeting has been held and [the minutes are here].  No major changes to any rules.  Also the last pull's results have been posted as well as the 2011 Points Champions.  The banquet will be held at the American Legion but the scheduling is not finalized for that event yet.  Please continue to check back for further details.  2012 Officers have been elected.  Andy Kutscherenko - President, Jason Lang - Vice President, Whitey Reynolds - Secretary/Treasurer.

 

10/30/11:

The rules meeting will be held November 12th, 2011, at 5:00 pm.  The meeting will be held at Arrowhead Pines Golf Course, located just south of Beverly, OH, on St Rt 60.  The club will be reviewing rules and making any changes deemed necessary.  We will also be deciding on the location for the 2011 Season Awards Banquet, what awards will be given out, and the date and time for the event.  The last item of business will be to elect new Officers for the 2012 season.  Please spread the word about the meeting.

 

10/5/11:

The rain date for last weekends rained out pull will be this coming Saturday, October 8th, at 11 am.  It will be from heavy to light.  There will be tug pull classes (5500, 6500, 7500 pound classes).  There will also be two jackpot classes, 8000# division 1 and 2.

Also, the FFA will be making up their tractor pull on October 16th.  Please spread the word about these dates and pulls.

 

10/1/11:

Todays pull has been cancelled.  Please spread the word.  Check back early in the week for the confirmed rain date.  Also, for tomorrow's FFA pull, please contact Matt Hartline at 740-350-1233.

 

9/28/11:

The last club pull was held September 17th and the results are posted.  There were 140 hooks.  The next pull is October 1st at 11 am from heavy to light.  There will be tug pull classes (5500, 6500, 7500 pound classes).  There will also be two jackpot classes, 8000# division 1 and 2. 

The Waterford FFA will be having a pull this weekend on Sunday, October 2nd at 11 am.  They will be having the same classes and rules as our normal club, including the tug pull classes.  Please spread the word and come out and support the local FFA Chapter!  Their rain date is October 16th.

 

9/15/11:

The last club pull was held August 27th and the results are posted.  There were 127 Hooks.  The next pull is September 17th starting at 5 pm.  This pull will be from Light to Heavy.  Also, we are adding some tug pull classes that we will have at the same time the speed pull is going on.  The classes will be 5500, 6500, and 7500 pound classes.  Please spread the word.

 

8/6/11:

The last club pull was held on July 30th, 2011.  The [results] are now posted.  There were 140 hooks at the pull.  The next pull will be held on August 27th at 5 pm.  This pull will be from Heavy to Light.  The Waterford Fair Tug pull will be held on Thursday night August 18th.  We need club members to help run it.  [Click here] for more information.  They will also be using our sled on Saturday, August 20th, at the Waterford Community Fair.

 

7/18/11:

The last club pull was held on July 2nd, 2011.  The results are now posted.  There were 136 hooks at the pull.  The next pull will be held on July 30th at 5 pm.  This pull will be from Light to Heavy.

 

6/26/11:

Today's pull (the third pull that was scheduled and rained out from last week) has been cancelled.  Please spread the word.  The fourth scheduled pull of the year will take place as scheduled this coming Saturday, July 2nd at 5 pm.  It will be from Heavy to Light and there will be a 6750 lb class Div I and Div II Jackpot classes.  Rules are the same as regular classes.  At that pull there will be discussion as to what the club should do about the third pull that was rained out twice to see if we should re-schedule the pull (and if so when we should have it) or if we should just not have it.

6/19/11:

The pull this weekend is cancelled.  It has been rescheduled for next weekend.  It will be held on Sunday, June 26th at 11:00 am.  It will still be Light to Heavy.  Also, the Marietta FFA will be having a pull next Saturday, June 25th.  Please spread the word about both pulls.  If you have a question about the Marietta FFA pull please ask a member of the Marietta FFA.

 

6/15/11:

The results from the 5/22/11 pull have been posted under the Pull Results.  The next pull is June 18th at 5:00 pm.  The pull will be Light to Heavy.

 

5/19/11:

Just a reminder that our second pull of the season is this coming Sunday, May 22nd at the Waterford Community Fair Grounds.  The pull will start at 11:00 am and will be from Heavy to Light.  Please spread the word.

 

5/16/11:

The club has received the fair boards money for the distance sign to be used in conjunction with the pulling sled.  Due to small attendance at summer meetings, the clubs meetings will be held before the drivers meetings at the pulls instead of the first Thursday of the Month.  This will continue until sometime in the fall.  Also, see the "Flyers" Tab for some area events.  One includes the Pioneer Antique Power Association Tractor Ride this coming weekend.  They are also having a tractor show in early June.

 

5/4/11:

Updated FFA Pull Date to July 10th at 11 am.  July 16th at 11 am will be the rain date.  The FFA will follow the same rules as the club and pull the same classes.  Also, there will be a club meeting tomorrow night at 7 pm at the Waterford Community Fair Board Office.  Please spread the word.  The next pull will be held on May 22nd at 11 am, pulling from Heavy to Light.

 

4/13/11:

The results of the first pull have been posted under the "Pull Results" tab.  Also, the pulling schedule has been updated to indicate if we will be starting with the heavy classes or the light classes at a particular pull.  Please continue to spread the word about the club and our schedule.

 

4/3/11:

Today was our first tractor pull of the 2011 season.  We had 94 Hooks total across the twelve classes and a total of 36 new members sign up.  The results should be posted by the end of the week.

The club would like to thank several people for donating time and materials to the club:

The April Monthly meeting will be held this coming Thursday, April 7th at the Waterford Community Fairgrounds starting at 7 pm.

 

3/16/11:

The club schedule has been finalized.  Please visit the 2011 Schedule Tab for more information.  The first pull will be held April 3rd at 11:00 am.  Please spread the word.  I'm working on creating a calendar again this year that contains all the area pulls.  Anyone with a pulling schedule for a club in the greater area please get them to me.  Also, if anyone takes any pictures this year at the pulls please forward them to me.

Please visit the Forms Tab.  I put the membership sign up form on here and the sign up sheet that you typically fill out at the pull.  The hope is that you can get on here, print them out, fill them out, and bring them to the pulls filled out and only have to turn them in and pay your entry fee.  Please consider doing this to save time help keep the pulls running smoothly.

Also, the club would like to thank Mark Williams of Marietta, OH, for donating a roller to the club for use in track preparation and maintenance.  If you see mark please take the time to thank him.

 

1/2/11:

There were 56 people that attended the year end Banquet on November 20th.  Monthly Rules meetings will resume on the first thursday in February which will be the 3rd.  This meeting will be held at the Waterford Community Fairground office and will begin at 7 pm.  Also, new officers have been elected.  They are :

The club is always looking for volunteers and fresh ideas so come out to the meetings and be heard.
